Stardate 02-07-08
I ran over to the mall today to try and buy a new pair of running shoes. On my way out, I overheard a couple of security guards talking politics. One of them said to the other, "Don't you think its wierd that our next President will end their first term in the year 2012; the same year that the Mayans predicted the world would end?" I really wanted to stop and ask her who she thought the next President would be. Instead I decided to blog about 2012.
Here is the low down. The Mayans were a bunch of science nerds who came up with mulitple calandar systems, which are actually more acturate than the calandar that we use today. Two of these calanders were called the "short" and "long" calanders. The amount of time in the "long" calander is was called "The Great Cycle" by the Myans. The amount of time in The Great Cycle converted to our time would equal 5,125 years. It was also calculated that the start of this cycle began in the year 3114 B.C.
The last day of the cycle in on our calandar is December 21, 2012. The crazy thing is that this happens to be the day of the Winter Solstice, but not any ordinary Winter Solstice-The Winter Solstice of all Winter Solticeses. On this day the there will be a conjuction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic Equator (equator of the Milky Way) and the path of the sun.
What does this mean? No one really knows, but everyone agrees that its probably going to be bad. Similar predictions for 2012 have been made by Merlin, the Chinese Oracle of the I Ching, the Book of Revelations, and The Web-Bot (The Web-Bot is a computer program used to predict the future. Guess what? It also predicted the end of the world would be in 2012. Does the interweb lie?).
Everything that I've said can be summed up much better in this 4 minute YouTube Video. Not even the soothing sounds of Enya will calm you as the end of the world unfolds before your eyes in this video. My favorite part of the video is when it shows the Anti-Christ.
So, who do you think will be the President in 2008? You better think twice about who you vote for. I know I will.

So, if I understand correctly, Al Gore invented the internet AND global warming (2012); his inventions correspond w/ those of the Aztecs, Merlin (who didn't exist but in fable), and the Bible; and Ahmadinejad, Hilary, Obama and Putin, collectively, are the AntiChrist?
Wow, so powerful! I am not sure what tugged at my heart more: Enya or those awesome graphics. How you find this crap I don't know. What I do know is that I am proud you are mine, and now you have bad "A" Karate skills to protect me come 2012. I'm not scared, who else can say that?

You are correct, except it was the Mayans not the Aztecs. As for Merlin, my source that he predicted 2012 came from The History Channel.
As for the Antichrist being Ahmedinejad, Obama, Putin, and Hilary...ever hear of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse? Or perhaps they could be called the Dragon, the Beast, the False Prophet, and the Whore of Babylon?

How do I find such great stuff? The interweb is a wonderful place. I have four years to prepare our home for 2012. If you won't let me get a gun, then I must continue my karate training. Survival of the apocalypse will require disapline, respect, mental toughness, and the ability to kick some serious A.
I watched Al's powerpoint and I have witnessed the coastal's edge of global warming, but never have a seen the world on fire like it was shown on your youtube clip. That was hot.
Anyways, just sounds like more mel gibson propaganda if you ask me.
Now that Mitt will not be in office to save the constitution, 2012 may just be the date to watch out for.
I actually heard a secretary at work the other day, while talking about how sad she was that Mitt dropped out of the presidential race, say that she thought Obama might be the anti-christ. Her reasoning: he didn't grow up christian, his dad and step-dad were muslims ("the people trying to destroy us"), and he is a smooth talker. No joke. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
Don't worry Ian. If you read the article comments on the Deseret News you will soon learn that the Mittites are already predicting Mitt's return in 2012. It will be then the rides in on the white horse to save the constitution.
I love that you overheard that conversation at work. Someday, when you become partner, you'll be able to fire that woman. Either that or you can take satisfaction that she will die in 2012.
That is powerful stuff. Other than the aforementioned Anti-Christ, I also really enjoyed the last few seconds, where the Enya soundtrack dramatically comes to a halt and we hear the crackling sounds of fire.
Of course I went to the website and if I weren't so cheap, I would really like to send you the official December 21, 2012 t-shirt.

I got a great idea for all the believers in the end of the world in 2012 and other people who just trying to bring lost of traffic to their website by posting stuff that scares people the most, death. May be they are the antichrist for manipulating people based on the philosophies of different cultures which are by the way previously were interpreted that the end was suppose to be in the year of 2000 and of course it also matched all perfectly. Anyway for all believers that want to prove and make a statement to the rest of the world that in 2012 it will all end, please let's make a legal agreement when if the world does not end in 2012 your bank account, house, car and a website similar to www.december212012.com with a great traffic flow, becomes mine since you so sure that you would no longer need it. It’s amazing how if there’s something that scares people, there’s always something else comes out that can provide different services to deal with thas fear. Flout or hurricane protection insurance, credit card protection plan, gas bill protection (this is a new one that I was called with the other morning) or anti airplane crushing walls that I can install at my apartment on the 29th floor, or simply bring people traffic to a website that posts unusual terrifying articles. People traffic on the website allows the site to sell stuff to different visitors or collect money by simply having people click on the attractive add. You make your conclusions.
I don't think we'll make it that far.Goldman Sachs will have stolen everthing by that time.
Do you guys truely believe in this stuff? I mean..think about it. Watch the discovery Channel for christ sake and stop internet exploring on crap other people say about "the end of the world".
The truth? WE ARE ALREADY IN THE MILKY WAY. Don't you think that this could have posibly happened before? Considering we're already in it?
Here's a website that I found that states 7 DOZEN predictions that has been made by many important and well respected people that never came true..examples, the dates 2011, september 29; 2011, december 21; 2001, november 22 when a woman said an "angel" came and spoke to her about the end of the world. ; 2014, when "jesus" is supposed to return?
Out of all the 7 dozen predictions NONE of them have come true. The end of the world predictions are mere religious beliefs. All these predictions have one VERY important thing that they all have in common though...NONE OF THEM CAME TRUE.
You are reading the wrong predictions...... and who are you (or me for that matter) in the plan devised for mankind? From creation to it's finality. To pit a puny human mind against the creator of all that exists for which we know nothing at all except for peabrain existence here. Keep on attempting to console yourself that you and everything else will be all right in its evil heart. As satan has always tempted man with.... we can be and are better than God.
all this are bullshit , no one knows when the end of the world is , no specific religion mentioned this day , they are just predictions , only god knows when it is , and in islam there are some marks which shows that the end of the world is near , and just few of them appeared till now , not only islam as i said all religions didnt mention it , also many people predicted that world end was in 2000 and 2001 and many others , lets live our life :) but we should be always ready for that day ... no one knows when it will come .................
Survival group against God?? LOL. Good luck with that. Truth is, no one knows the exact time this will happen except the man upstairs, however, I firmly believe that there are people placed here by God that post the warning signs and it's up to you to take heed.
